this chain is a wonder! it's hard to know exactly what it's use case was originally, but it's a delight to style it with two pendants

sterling silver dainty, sturdy curb chain that slips over the head (no clasp) with a sister clasp at the length of the necklace and then an extension with another sister clasp that creates an almost-lariat, almost-rosary style

curb chain is tight, but doesn't kink up on itself. it does, however, want to twist slightly when not weighted with a pendant
