how about a sparkly looooong neck mess layer that's a perfect width for pendants, wonderful on its own, and can be worn doubled (on smaller necks)
solid sterling silver with rhodium plating — rhodium plating is added to many Italian sterling silver chains to add extra shine, while preventing tarnish. it wears away over time, but cannot easily be removed. Re-plating is an option, but also a matter of personal preference. On daintier chains with smaller design details like this one the fading rhodium plating is less obvious.

like a chain of tiny disco balls, these ball beads have flat panels all the way around giving them a great texture and extra sparkle!
it is rhodium plated and it is vintage, which means that the plating is wearing away, which is really only visible in good lighting with serious magnification, like in the photos — you can see that the sterling silver is visible on the edges/corners of the faceted sides of the disco beads and the flat areas have some shiny rhodium still remaining
some inconsistent patina patterns throughout the chain
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
