it's always a treat to find helpful stacking rings that add a bit of extra sparkle and this one is an especially lovely example. yes, it wold have been designed for a solitaire ring, but that solitaire ring isn't around, so now it's both a challenge and opportunity to find how this ring fits into a stack or to use it as a piece of a project
it's designed so that the wave sits to the side on the finger, which also makes it a wonderful addition at the top or bottom of a stack or solo. it's nice to find a helper band that's also wonderful solo

until a few weeks ago some of the diamonds had become crooked in their settings. it's just had a tune-up to get each diamond level in its setting, which also revealed that they're aren't all perfectly matched for size, clarity, or color
modest patina throughout the recessed details of the setting
heavier scratching on the inside of the band from friction with another ring it was nested with
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
