snug closure and easy hinge

heavy wear to the gold overlay, most notably along the hinge, and on the smaller bail

new jump ring bail is gold plating over sterling silver and currently has a brighter hue than the locket

heavy patina throughout the engraved floral details and throughout the inside compartment — additional polishing is left up to the buyer. too much polishing will result in more loss of the gold overlay
