the most exquisite example of a double sided butterfly pendant — crafted in 14k rosy yellow gold with real iridescent periwinkle blue butterfly wings on both sides, and a pale yellow butterfly or moth on one side underneath domed glass, with a tight bezel rim

this pendant does NOT want to get wet, as water could lead to damage of the butterfly wings

pendant without bails measures 23mm across x ~7mm thick

tiny oval bail has a ~3mm north to south inner measurement

C O N D I T I O N 

in very good vintage condition

this is one of the finer examples of a butterfly wing pendant as the bezel is soldered shut, it isn't one of the pendants with a screw top bail that loosens, allowing the wing to shift inside of the pendant, leading to damage. Here the bezel is completely sealed, which keeps the wings and butterfly from shifting. Nevertheless, this pendant should be kept away from moisture, which could lead to problems if it were to get under the glass and damage the wings

the glass is in exceptional shape with only minor surface wear, no deep scratches or chips

there's no wiggle of the glass in the bezel
