this M is in the style of an initial pendant that's made a present day, but this one appears to be a much older, nicer version — an original, perhaps. it's art deco inspired, but likely dates to the 1960s, not the 1920s. what hints that it's older? the wear, yes, but also the solid construction and the diamonds. the tiny diamonds are a mix of old euro cuts and single cuts, though they're pretty tiny and set in a white gold illusion setting, so it's hard to identify the cuts without magnification

new split ring jump ring bail is 14k and new
it's marked 750 for 18k, but the mark has faded significantly
the small bail isn’t soldered shut, which was an original design choice, not damage
the octagonal frame would once have had a high shine and luster, but it's more matte these days
