a recent realization is that charm holders are budget friendly connector clasps, which feels like a wonderful discovery.

this one is a really nice example that's large enough to hold quite a few charms and pendants. it's shown styled as a connector clasp on a chain for inspiration.

this appears to be a handmade piece, so its overall construction and finish is organic and rustic, not crisp and refined and it doesn't have perfect symmetry throughout the design

butterfly once had a mirror-like luster, but now shows every scratch and fingerprint

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
