if you didn't think you were into egg jewelry, this might be the piece that changes your mind. it's a remarkably detailed, expertly crafted cloisonne enameled egg with a stone or glass as the center of the flower. it's crafted in sterling silver, but partially gold gilt, which gives it a brassy frame and bail

is it true art nouveau? maybe! is it strikingly beautiful and offers plenty of figural symbolism? yes!

in very good vintage condition

very minimal wear to the enamel, some surface wear to the center of the flower, which may be glass or a stone (it hasn't been evaluated)

replacement sterling silver jump ring bail is NOT soldered shut

vermeil over the frame is brassy in hue from patina

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
