it's a true treat to stumble upon a design that feels like a novel take on the intersection of floral and celestial and this band doesn't disappoint. very likely dates to the 1970s, though it doesn't have a full British hallmark, so it's likely from Australia or Italy

hand engraved with blooms that hint at star flowers, but sit at the edges of the band leaving a bit of the design to the imagination

blue stones are very likely glass and are very, very worn and now have a matte finish replacing what were once facets

in good vintage condition

this band has had many eras and until recently had been stored for so long that it was darkened with patina. it's had a hand polishing, but could be brought back to a high shine with some time on a jeweler's polishing wheel

the inside edge of the band has a deep file mark from an overly thorough acid test to confirm karat at some point

heavy dents and dings to the gold and significant wear to the glass 'stones,' which now have a dull matte surface replacing previous facets

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
