it's a knot! it's a snake! it's a fob! it has an uncarved bloodstone! it's all of the whimsy and intrigue of a victorian era design, but made in the late 1980s, which means that it isn't nearly as delicate as a victorian era piece and is made for daily wear

9k British yellow gold with natural bloodstone

19mm north to south excluding both bails

bezel setting around bloodstone measures ~11mm x ~14mm

jump ring bail is NOT soldered shut and has a ~4mm inner diameter

weighs 3.2g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

there are a few minor inconsistencies in the bezel around the stone, which is consistent with a stone that was bezel-set by hand

time-earned patina throughout the details of the snake, which adds visual depth

the snake portion of the pendant appears to have been sandcast or similar, and there are a few minor areas where the 'extra' gold wasn't filed off, which gives the pendant a rustic, handmade feel

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
