a vintage new old stock figaro chain by Milor was in mostly unworn condition because the lobster clasp was faulty. the original hardware on either end has been removed (and removed the Milor hallmark in the process) and replaced with new bails and a new carabiner style clasp that can double as a charm/pendant holder. the result is a watch chain inspired style, but with modern shine.
the dog clip style clasp does NOT swivel
gold over sterling silver. gold plating is a lesson in non attachment and it will wear away revealing the silver beneath. re-plating is an option, but it's not possible to predict how quickly the plating will fade.
