reimagined V I N T A G E // memento mori / 14k yellow and white gold and diamond ring / skull conversion ring / size 7.25

the most recent manifestation of the memento mori conversion ring project I seem to have going over here. a wearable prayer about being present and grateful and aware of our mortality, rather than floating through this lifetime with the illusion of forever ahead of us.

this is a true one of a kind. each one of the memento mori rings has its own personality, and per usual, this is crafted from a new 14k yellow gold original design skull modeled after skull pins of yesteryear paired with a yellow and white gold 14k classic mid century diamond band. yes, indeed, all of the stones you see are natural diamonds.

currently size 7.25 and can be sized within reason

skull face measures just shy of 9mm north to south

diamond eyes measure ~2mm each

vintage band has a pipe cut design and tapers to ~0.9mm wide at the base of the band

~5.1mm total rise off the finger at the center of the setting

there's a ~1.25mm rise underneath the skull's head, meaning it can be stacked with a ring that's up to 1mm thick/tall

weighs 3.3 grams

C O N D I T I O N

in good upcycled condition

when the skulls are cast they have a slightly organic, matte surface texture, which is has been mostly polished to a higher shine

the diamond eyes are a different cut, clarity, and color than the diamonds in the mid century band

solder marks visible where the skull was joined with the setting
