an elegant, chunky flat woven chain with a serpent-like movement where each twisted link segment is constructed with two rings soldered together, which is then connected to its neighbor with a smooth jump ring link. it's really a genius design, expertly constructed. it came with its original hook clasp, which also hooked into clothing when worn, so that's been replaced with a modern handcuff style connector clasp that doubles as a charm or pendant holder if you choose that option.
