well, this is something special. a figural way to wear a reminder about a love for humanity so deep that it inspires self-sacrifice. feels like an ever-poignant reminder to love another fiercely in a time when we're witnessing so much preventable global suffering.
an antique oval signet featuring a sacred heart with burgundy and white enameling in a cloisonne style, and detailed floral shoulders. the gold has a rosy hue, as is typical of antique signets from the late Victorian / earl Edwardian eras
are there others of these in existence? maybe! some internet sleuthing didn't reveal any comparable peers, so this isn't a style that's easy to find

in very good antique condition
-heavy time-earned patina in the recessed details and throughout the ring
-minor evidence of a previous sizing at the base of the band
-modest fading to the raised details of the flower shoulders
-the enameling is not perfect — almost every part of the surface shows wear, cracks, pitting, etc. And, it's amazing that there's generally visible enameling after 100 years.
-a seemingly original sizing seam mid-flower on one side
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
