she's sassy and whimsical, classic and striking, humble and bold

looking for a timeless, sparkly stacker that offers a bit of height and wonder into a stack? perhaps this 1920s ring in the style of a slightly earlier Edwardian style is the fascinator you're looking for. it's 18k, marked 18ct, which hints that it originates in a commonwealth country, likely Australia given that it doesn't have date and city hallmarks. As you might imagine, 100 years isn't always easy for a ring, and this ring has been recently rehabbed and refurbished to bring it into its next 100 years

in good rehabbed antique condition

-two of the stones were replaced, and in order to match the cut of these old stones the ring had to travel to a jeweler in another city capable of rehabbing it
-the ring was sourced with slightly mismatched and broken stones. we can't remember which two the jeweler replaced, which is a good sign.
-the stones are NOT perfectly matched for cut or clarity, but that's part of the fun. that also means that there are slight variations in the details of the prong settings, since they've been reworked over time — now each setting is its own tiny story about resilience and reinvention
-the 18ct mark is fading as is the serial number
-modest wear on the sides of the setting where other rings would have rubbed against the filigree settings, making it flatter and less defined than when it was crafted
