a wonderful older Mexican made sterling silver scimitar and fortune teller with a spherical silver crystal ball

sterling silver, with the exception of the pin, which appears to be an alloy

gorgeous time-earned wear throughout this piece

would you style it as a pendant? wear it as a brooch on a jacket pocket? uncouple the fortune teller and sword and style them separately?

C O N D I T I O N 

in okay/good vintage condition

this is an older piece, likely from the 1940s and it has a surprising amount of wear for a brooch

heavier surface scratches, dents and dings, especially some larger dents on the crystal ball

modest patina throughout the surface, which has a rather dull surface texture 

there's a slightly raised area mid-blade above the fortune teller where the silver hallmark on the back resulted in a raised area on the front of the sword
