it's a rare treat to find a vintage band with its original emeralds and this one has three sweet, worn emeralds in flush-ish settings with setting details that are reminiscent of a four point star. the band is tapered, which offers the look of a wide band, but without as much finger coverage, which is a nice option for those of us with skin that doesn't like full contact with a flat surface.
the emeralds are NOT perfect — they are soft stones in a vintage setting. price reflects their rustic time-earned quirks

slides down to slightly beyond a size 7.25 on a sizing mandrel, but will fit smaller because of the width of the front of the ring, so likely fits more like a size ~7 — the right-fit or right-size of wide bands, even when they're tapered, is a subjective, sensory experience

band is in good vintage condition, stones are in fair vintage condition
-band was sized down previously, resulting in a loss of the karat marking and softening to the maker's mark
-a few noticeable dents/dings along the edges of the band
-all three emeralds have damage! each one has chips and losses and none of them feature the original facets — they are VERY worn, but they are original and the damage is hard to spot unless you're inspecting the stones. they are a standard, calibrated size, so a jeweler could swap them with another stone if you choose to go that route. the price of the ring is deeply discounted to reflect the damage to the stones
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
