amethyst stone is in excellent condition with only minor surface scratching. amethyst does have natural inclusions, which are visible without magnification

engraving details have begun to soften/wear down

surface scratches to the gold consistent with antique rings

ring is bent very slightly out of round

ring was previously sized or repaired, resulting in two areas in the band with a more yellow hue
