in good vintage condition

-new jump ring bail
-the charm is rhodium plated, which offers a bright, shiny luster and hue and prevents patina, but it is a plating, so it's a practice in non-attachment. there's no way to remove the plating, but it will fade with time
-swivel hinge works easily and the report card stays hidden when worn
-the modeling paint or enamel that was used to accent/define the stamped words and details throughout the charm is wearing/worn away

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
