it's always fun to find a piece made by a company that perfected silver with flatware, etc and then branched into jewelry, because there's a definite stylistic nod to flatware designs present in the jewelry. 

this piece was made by Towle and has the distinct vibe of a spoon ring or pendant, but it isn't a conversion and features a wonderfully rich green jade cabochon. this piece has a truly timeless design that nods to the Victorian era, could easily have been crafted in the 1970s, and feels relevant today
