-this is a 1990s locket in the style of a 1940s locket and the main difference is how much gold was used — much less in the 1990s than in the 1940s, which means that there is some denting on the backside of the locket
-easy hinge and snug closure
-original plastic photo shield/protectors, with some scratching on the gold beneath the plastic covers from using tiny, poky items to lift the covers off over the years
-bail seems to be original to the locket
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
