so many design elements converge in a ring that's late made century minimalism and elegance leaning toward the sass of the 1970s.

it's hard to classify it. it's dome-y. it's signet-y. it's kinda stackable. it has sleek knife-edge shoulder tapering into a knife edge band. the shadowbox setting mostly protects the prongs from snagging on threads. the recessed shadowbox is darkened with a matte black overlay, which does have time-earned wear (price has been adjusted for this wear)

in good vintage condition

-there are some losses to the black overlay in the shadowbox setting
-the prongs aren't uniform, but they're intact and holding onto the stone
-the diamond is free from damage, but will show minor surface wear under -magnification
-the surface of the gold has a matte, brushed finish, which is helping to hide some heavier surface scratches, dents, and dings
-this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
