it's true 1970s Cleopatra-inspired magic. crafted in 9k yellow gold with a bright yellow hue that's either bright in hue by alloy or because of a half century of patina
it looks much heavier than it is, which is a testament to the profound engineering that went into this petaled delight
each petal rests on a segment of a tight cuban chain, with then a few links of the cuban with movement where the petals overlap/nest with one another

C O N D I T I O N
in good vintage condition
it's a delicate piece that's had a lot of wear over a half century and it does have some condition quirks worth noting:
-at some point there was a break in the curb chain between two petals, which was repaired with a stationary segment of gold & solder, so there is no longer movement between those two petals, which is less consequential because of where it lands in the chain
-time-earned patina, surface scratches, etc — this has been lightly cleaned, but not polished for fear of removing time-earned patina which may be contributing to its bright hue
-the petals are thin, but so far have avoided notable bends, dents, dings, etc
-clasp is unmarked, works great
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
