I wish this ring could tell me its secrets — like, why does it have a very very vintage 14k stamp and mark, but it's in a classic mid century style? Was it made in the early mid century by a jeweler who had been crafting since the 1920s and 30s who was using an old stamp?

whatever its secrets, it's no secret how stunning the color of this ring's stone is

14k pale yellow gold

measures size 9.25 on the mandrel, but may fit smaller because the face of the ring measures ~19mm north to south, for significant finger coverage

a sturdy 10.5g

~8mm rise off the finger

the brushed finish is softening in some areas, there's a tiny dimple on one edge of the setting, and there's minor surface wear to the stone. overall the ring is in excellent condition for its age
