C O N D I T I O N
in good re-worked vintage condition
the signet is sturdy, but it shows plenty of wear:
-heavy scratching and patina throughout the ring, less visible on the newly engraved signet face which has a fairly matte/brushed surface
-new patina added to the engraved design details to enhance the visual contrast
-the new engraving is crisp and precise and was done by hand so it will have natural variations
-diamonds are new and free from wear
-the signet's face has a flat back, but is likely hollow — there are some cracks in the gold on the under gallery of the signet where the ring rests on the finger. at some point these cracks may need to be stabilized by a jeweler, but for now it's better not to mess with them. the price has been significantly discounted because of this condition quirk.
-there's a visible solder seam/splotch at the 'bottom' of the round signet face that hints that the circle face is soldered on top of the ring
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
