a one of a kind mashup between a service pin and a class ring to create a round signet with a five point star and three bezel-set diamonds. what was the service pin for? perhaps an oil company, though it's hard to say for sure. the ring was a class ring from the 1920s that had worn so significantly that it had lost its details and needed a new life.
now we have a one of a kind signet that's a wearable poem about directionality, north stars, past/present/future, and the efforts and time required to rewarded for our efforts
the base ring is rosy gold and the star pin is yellower, with sparkly white diamonds
solid 10k + natural diamonds

signet face is ~9.5mm across and rises up to ~3mm off the finger
band tapers to ~2.34mm wide at the base of the band
diamonds are each ~1mm

in good re-worked vintage condition
-the star is a rosier hue, but its textured surroundings are brighter yellow in hue
-diamonds are free from chips, cracks, and will show surface wear with magnification
-solder is visible where the pin is mounted to the signet's top and on the under gallery of the signet's face where a tiny hole was drilled to add an additional solder point for good measure
this is a reworked very vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
