a gorgeous very short Taxco necklace with bird-like links inlaid with abalone begged for a re-work to fit a neck slightly larger than a kid's neck and so it's been re-worked to include a larger vintage 900 silver clasp that can double as a charm holder if desired.

this necklace does NOT have an additional clasp, so it would need to be latched in the front

bird-like links are handmade and vary marginally in size,and are ~16.5mm x ~30mm

weighs just under 41g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

modest patina throughout the links, but all polishing has to be done without chemicals so as to preserve the luster of the inlay abalone

connector clasp is quite dented and dinged, but opens easily and closes securely and can accommodate plenty of charms and pendants so long as their bails are large enough to fit onto the carabiner

inlay shell is in good condition, but as shell is a natural, soft material there are minor losses and surface inconsistencies

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
