the matte/brushed/florentine finish on the shoulders and perimeter of the round face fiercely holds onto dirt and patina
heavy, uneven patina throughout the ring, which will wear away quickly on the inside/outside of the band, but will remain in the engraving, which adds depth and contrast
engraving is new and crisp on a dappled signet face
this is a late mid century signet ring with new engraving and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
