a pre-loved chunky biker link style chain has been re-worked with a new clasp reminiscent of a watch chain — a new clasp in the style of a dog clip clasp, but without the swivel feature, which can double as a pendant/charm holder
gold plating is a lesson in non attachment and it will wear away revealing the silver beneath. re-plating is an option, but it's not possible to predict how quickly the plating will fade.

dog clip style clasp measures ~23.8mm long. for a pendant's bail to fit onto this clasp the inner diameter must be at least 2.25mm

C O N D I T I O N
in good reworked vintage condition
-there are a few minor areas throughout the chain where there are some losses to the gold plating
-semi-hollow links seem to be free of dents, dings, but there might be a minor dent or two that are being visually cloaked by the faceted shape of the links
-chain was sourced dark with patina and a liquid cleaner was used to remove the dark spots, since gold plating doesn't want hand polishing, which will remove some of the surface gold. the patina is fairly stubborn and doesn't want to come off easily, so there's modest patina and a brassy hue
-jump rings between chain and clasp/bail are not soldered shut, but they're a thick, sturdy gauge.
