the most recent manifestation of the memento mori conversion ring project I seem to have going over here. a wearable prayer about being present and grateful and aware of our mortality, rather than floating through this lifetime with the illusion of forever ahead of us.

this is a true one of a kind. each one of the memento mori rings has its own personality, and per usual, this is crafted from a vintage slightly rosy yellow 14k gold fraternal pin paired with a true yellow gold 14k and diamond brutalist band. the skull's face has new diamond eyes, replacing the old synthetic ruby eyes

this one's band was a gigantic project. it once featured three settings, one of which was beyond repair, one was holding a very broken diamond and it's been re-worked to offer it a new life

*the skull's face is very very slightly rosier in hue than the 10k yellow gold band

the original fraternal Greek inlaid enamel letters have been hand filed off of the skull's forehead and the whole piece carefully designed and assembled to make it a perfect stacking ring, *listing is for the skull ring only. any other jewelry shown is for styling inspiration, only*

side accent diamonds measures ~2.8mm each

~5.5mm total rise off the finger at the center of the setting

there's a 3mm rise underneath the skull's head, meaning it can be stacked with a ring that's up to 3mm thick/tall

weighs 3.1 grams

C O N D I T I O N

in good upcycled condition

the forehead has some inconsistencies throughout the surface from where the inlaid enamel Greek letters were removed

one of the accent diamonds is whiter in color than the other

surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the surface of the gold, in part because of the brutalist design of the band and setting

solder marks visible where the skull was joined with the setting
