these memento mori rings are an absolute labor of love. each one is different, each one whispers how it wants to be brought into fruition.

the 10k slightly rosy gold skull came from an old fraternal pin, which I lovingly hand filed the Greek enameled letters off of. I sourced a perfect, pre-loved modern 10k yellow gold band with shoulders that are simultaneously reminiscent of a double helix and evil eyes that tapers into a skinny pipe cut style. My brilliant jeweler swapped the paste eyes for diamonds, removed the hardware, and laser soldered the piece together.

skull face measures ~6mm north to south

band measures ~2mm wide at the widest point of the eye-shaped shoulder details

there is just shy of 1mm space between the finger and the underside of the skull's head, so it can be stacked with a skinny/flat band that is less than that

the Greek enamel letters were filed off the forehead, and there's a faint hint of that adventure in the form of slightly uneven surface and some faint file marks

surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the gold

diamonds may have faint surface imperfections under magnification

sizing mark was lost to a previous sizing
