it's true, this curation doesn't have many gold rings with large statement stones, because stones are prone to damage over time and if it isn't a standard size stone it can be a bit of a headache to work out a replacement.
this striking mid century setting that's simultaneously like a subtle eye with tears and like a partial lunar eclipse was sourced with a focal stone with damage so significant that the prongs couldn't hold onto the stone. a new citrine stone was sourced for it and it's been expertly rehabbed by a jewelry wizard
