these recent, not-yet-vintage delicate Navajo-made artisan eagle with hinged wings has spectacular carved feather details throughout the wings, mother of pearl beak, detailed silver talons, and a dainty paperclip chain

very often when these are pre-loved, like this one, they have more damage than is manageable. this one DOES have some easily fixed wear, but it is much more intact than its preloved peers, so here it is looking for a home that will adopt it, give it a tune up, and wear it 

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

the clasp easily connects into any link in the chain, and it has a maximum length of ~22.5"

bird measures just over 3" wide x ~1.75" north to south

weighs 12.2g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good pre-loved condition

heavy patina throughout the silver (this will polish off if you desire)

no damage to the turquoise or mother of pearl

feet are both securely attached to the eagle's body

while the wings are in bezel settings, the bezel doesn't hold the carved turquoise wing in place. the wings are actually glued into the setting and because this one sat in a sun-soaked case at a flea market for some years and had a little more heat exposure than the glue could tolerate one wing is beginning to separate from the silver and will need to be re-glued into place by a jeweler asap. this is usually a $0 - $10 repair
