a newly made vintage-inspired skull as a wearable memento mori talisman. a symbolic figure that serves as a wearable reminder to live in the present moment and hold onto awareness of mortality to fully appreciate the wonders and lessons of this lifetime.

modeled after a favorite vintage skull from older fraternal pins, but newly made. the nose and teeth hold onto a bit of patina to offer extra contrast and make the details pop visually.

areas of the the surface of the gold have a slightly matte, pitted texture to give is a more organic feel, though the forehead is more polished

solid 14k yellow gold (unmarked) with new natural diamond eyes

in excellent new condition

this is a handmade item and there are small variations between pieces because of hand finishing, though each is cast from the same mold. bails are added after casting and may show very small solder seams
