an oldie and a goodie. 18k buttery yellow gold, likely crafted in the UK originally, thought the hallmarks are lost to time and possibly some adventures. each head features a bold old cut diamond and the worn ruby eyes appear to be the original stones. this ring is full of romance and has a wonderful weight and soft, warm energy.
if you like pristine figural jewelry this piece isn't your match, but if you love a piece that shows its age and is still sturdy and impressive then this might be for you

in good antique condition
this has all of the wear and whimsy you want to see in a true antique snake ring. without the full hallmark it's hard to date it exactly, but the diamonds hint to turn of the century or slightly later.
the band has had several repairs/sizings, which have left areas with variations in hue from the solder used
the ruby eyes are quite worn, which isn't noticeable when worn, but is visible without magnification if you've got a careful eye and good lighting
diamonds are free from damage, but do have minor surface wear and have some carbon flecks visible with the naked eye, which clearly don't detract from the rainbowy sparkly show they put on in the sunlight (see video)
this is an antique ring and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
