a truly timeless design popularized in the 1940s present ever since this piece likely dates to the 1980s. the engraved details on the front appear to be hand engraved given the variations throughout the design.

'you're loved' was machine engraved on the back of the locket, which led to minor denting and dimpling because the gold is thin

nice closure, easy hinge

this locket was coated in something, possibly something had leaked on it when it was stored for a long period of time and that substance then dried creating a coating throughout the inside of the locket. it was soaked and scrubbed to remove this mystery substance, but there may be tiny remnants in the hard to reach recesses

dimpling and dents from where the 'you're loved' engraving was added on the back

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
