a stunning late mid century artist-made Scorpio zodiac scorpion pendant with a detailed hand cut design that makes excellent use of negative space

solid 18k yellow gold with a very slight rosy hue

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

pendant without bails is ~15.7mm north to south x ~14.9mm east to west

the bail has a small  ~4.25mm x ~3.5mm opening, but it is NOT soldered shut, so can easily be opened to be added to a chain

weighs 0.9g (very lightweight)

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

most of the quirks are original features of its handmade origin, like that the round frame isn't a perfect circle and the jump ring bail is an organic shape 

the 18k marking has some fading, but is still legible

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
