was the engraving original to the dome? hard to tell
is the tapered domed band vintage? also hard to tell, but it has enough wear to hint that it could be 25+ years old
this band is domed and shiny, which makes it very difficult to photograph without reflections
it's crafted from a true yellow 9k British yellow gold and is a lightweight, thin gold, which gives it a daintier feel than it appears

dome is ~7.8mm north to south on the finger and rises ~2.85mm off the finger
band tapers to a very thin band that's ~1.7mm wide at smallest and a mere ~0.3mm thick — it may need to be reinforced/re-banded in this area sooner than later

C O N D I T I O N
in okay vintage condition
this is a thin domed tapered band and the thinness lends itself to pick up time-earned quirks. there a dents at the 'ends' of the domed front where the ring sits between the fingers
the base of the band has had some sadder adventures. the band is thin with uneven edges and heavy scratching inside the band. it seems like a sizing or repair was done in a way that optimized for cost over structural integrity. for comfort it may be necessary to beef up the base of the band to make it thicker.
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
