the dome and the prongs have a surprisingly low profile, which makes it relatively easy to wear, but if you're annoyed by prongs snagging on fabrics this is NOT the ring for you
because of the flat sides of the ring it's a surprisingly great stacking ring
there's a lovely atomic era juxtaposition of crisp geometry and organic shapes, with time-earned patina throughout the yellow gold brutalist form

in good vintage condition
the ring was crafted by casting the brutalist dome and then setting white gold prongs into the brutalist form — this leads to some losses of the brutalist details on the undergallery of the dome
14k mark has nearly completely worn away
heavy surface scratches, dents, dings, and dulling throughout the yellow gold
a heavier file mark at the base of the band where this ring was very thoroughly acid tested by its previous caretaker
ring was sized up previously and is now slightly out of round
diamonds are in good condition and prongs are all secure — a few of them are slightly larger than expected, which hints that they were previously re-tipped
