the solder used to attach the ear posts to the star is high in copper content, so it will develop verdigris patina over time and isn't ideal for skin sensitive to copper unless you coat it with nail polish or have a jeweler buff off some of the excess solder

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
