deeply inspired by 1940s sweetheart lockets, this tiny, adorable locket has a forget me not flower, a domed/puffy shape, and a secure closure. thankfully, it was paired with a decent sized bail, which can accommodate many chains.

in good vintage condition
-the hinge works great, as does the closure
-front and back of the locket don't perfectly match up, but this appears to be an original quirk
-heavy patina on the inside of the locket, which is trickier to buff/polish because of the matte texture of the gold inside the compartments
-this style of locket wouldn't have had glass, but the edges can hold a photo in place
-visible scratching on the back from a previous overly-thorough acid testing
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
