it's a rare treat to find a vintage gold stackable snake ring in a larger size and this one doesn't disappoint. the dainty serpent's head and tail are twisted around each other enough to offer an infinity symbol if you're looking for one, and the serpent's face is set off the finger enough to present the possibility of stacking the head over another band

size 11 — it shows evidence of being sized up considerably, so it could be sized down without trouble
focal area is ~8.75mm north/south on the finger and rises up to ~4.7mm off the finger with up to ~3.25mm rise between the finger and the bottom of the snake's nose
base of the band is ~1.35mm at narrowest point
weighs 1.6g (very lightweight)
C O N D I T I O N
in good vintage condition
-sizing seams/area easily visible on the inside of the base of the band — the seams appear to also be partial weak spots, so these may need to be reinforced in the future
-inconsistencies in width, finish, and luster throughout the base of the band as a result of previous sizings
-the eye settings were likely white gold plated at one point, which is nearly gone
-diamonds are free from damage, but do have surface wear
-heavy uneven patina throughout the gold — polishing decisions are left to the next caretaker
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
