a sweet, sturdy, shimmery sweetheart locket from the 1940s in pretty excellent condition for its age and ready to hold your sweet memories

12k gold over sterling silver with an abalone or mother of pearl face

oval locket compartment on the back is ~20mm x ~14mm

weighs 5.7g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

time-earned surface scratches, dents, dings, thinning of the gold fill overlay, and patina

the locket has an almost too snug closure, but it does open and closes very securely

jump ring bail appears to be a replacement and is likely gold fill over brass
