a very, very wonderful classic lion ring with ruby accents. this is a nice, older (circa 1970s) example of a lion ring with the time-earned wear patterns that ofter a softness to the features of the lion

size 10.75 to 11 — it measures just over size 10.75, but there's more space under the lion's hollow face
head is ~19.7mm north to south for some serious finger coverage
ruby eyes are ~1.75mm each
weighs 6.7g, which is a nice, sturdy weight, but not heavy
C O N D I T I O N
in good vintage condition
-rich, brassy, time-earned, almost-pink patina throughout the design details — a jeweler could polish back to its true yellow hue, but you'd lose the dynamic contrast
-softening to the mane and facial features from many years of wear, which includes softening and losses to the bezel settings around the stones
-the base of the band is slightly out of round, hinting at a previous sizing or some other adventure
-rubies are intact, but do have minor surface wear and micro chips to the facets
-ring is no longer a perfectly round shape — it looks like it molded to fit around someone's finger over many years of wear
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
