a large, sturdy older Egyptian silver connector clasp that's ready for your next project

will to style it into a charm holder on a chunky necklace chain? something else?

hallmarks for 800 silver, though there's one small area toward the end of the hook portion of the clasp where there's some transfer of copper or similar

hook is ~2.8 x ~2mm thick so to use it for pendants the bails would need to be larger than that

figaro chain measures ~46mm including stationary bail link soldered onto the connector

weighs 12g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

this is an older piece, but made after 1948

time-earned surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, and patina

some fading to the hallmarks

there's one area toward the end of the hook portion of the clasp that has some metal transfer that appears copper colored — this appears to be a quirk from fabrication and isn't likely to polish off
