V I N T A G E // moon daisy / 14k yellow and white gold round daisy cluster ring / size 5.75 to 6

it's this ring that makes it possible to see the moon and flower in a single design. is it a full moon with its craters? is it a daisy? it seems to be both. the setting appears to be circa 1950s, but the stones are from a much earlier era and are a combination of older cuts with variation in color and clarity. they're set in white gold, which offers the illusion of much more sparkle 

this setting is beautifully constructed and has art deco inspired architecture, which raises off the finger higher than many rings. if you prefer a low profile then this isn't your perfect match

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

this ring has been worn and loved and it has the wear to prove its age — stating these quirks for transparency, though none of them are immediately noticeable unless there's very close examination of the stones and their settings:
- center stone was replaced and the pave prongs holding it in place are slightly more yellow than the rest of the white gold setting. this stone also has a slightly different old cut than many of the diamonds, which isn't distracting since it's the center stone
-many of the stones have misshapen bezel settings and micro-chips to their facets or table (see photos)
-fading milgrain detailing around the edges of the center cluster of seven stones

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
