smokey quartz appears dark when not cast in light and lighter chocolate brown when the light catches it.

C O N D I T I O N

in good vintage condition

there is a minor surface imperfections to the stone, which makes sense since it sits high off the finger: 0.5-1mm chips to the corners of the exposed stone as well as tiny flea bite imperfections along the facets/edges

the surface of the gold has normal wear (scratches, tiny dents) consistent with a vintage ring that was worn and loved, some of these are an intentional brushed florentine finish, which was a trend in the 1960s
