it should be in a museum, but here it is! no, really, his work has been heavily featured in museums, because Antonio Pineda's work is revered, in large part because his pieces are so technical and feature incredible structure and engineering. how did we end up here with this work of art looking for a new caretaker? hard to know, but let's hope that this museum piece is adopted by someone who will love and wear it. a web search or two will reveal that this piece is priced way way way below market value in an effort to get it out of a safe and onto a neck
Antonio Pineda made many, many pieces, but this isn't a style that seems easy to research online. very likely from his mid modernist era, though exact date is a mystery.

-stones are free from damage, but show minor surface wear
-modest patina throughout the links — it has had some light hand polishing and further polishing is left to the next caretaker
-every component of this wearable work of art is handmade and so no two pieces are identical
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
