it's hard to date this piece because it appears to be artisan made—the card looks like it was cast, finished, and then the bail was soldered on—but it has enough wear to safely guess that it's vintage or very close to vintage

while there are many iterations of playing cards in pendant and charm form, this one is especially detailed and has a nice size and presence, coupled with wear from age

-modest fading to the engraved details to the faces on the faces of the queens
-the playing card has a small warble bend so that it isn't perfectly flat/level
-original imperfections/excess gold int he cut out details leftover from the casting process
