this is the second of this style band that's cycled through this shop — the other had a 1946 inscription which helped date it to the 1940s, but clearly inspired by art nouveau motifs

almost-antique bands with eternity (all the way around) patterned engraving are harder and harder to find, and this one is a spectacular example with what appears to be hand-carved and engraved leaves that stretch all the way around

in good very vintage condition

this band has one flat pipe cut style edge and one scalloped edge that follows the design of the leaf edges — it is highly likely that it was previously soldered to another band for many decades and then cut apart later

time-earned patina in the design details of the leaves

surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the gold
